But recently in a vlog the director said that his entire star cast fell asleep while watching the film in the theater at the premiere. In Farah Khans latest vlog she is seen visiting Sonu Soods Mumbai house. She not only showed the fans the actors entire house but also shared an anecdote related to Happy New Year. Farah Khan recalled that they were shooting in Dubai for 150 days. Sonu is a vegetarian due to which he eats only salad. Further she narrated an anecdote related to the promotion of the film and said “We have done so much PR that no other film of Happy New Year would have done. We toured for the film for 40 days and three weeks.” What Happened At The Premiere Of Happy New Year? Farah recalled and said “We also started a TV show. Happy New Year Dance Competition. After leaving that show I was also doing dubbing and mixing and after that we went to Dubai for the premiere. The premiere started the entire star cast was sitting in the front row. The movie started and after 5 minutes we all fell asleep.” It is worth noting that Happy New Year was produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner. Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff also appeared in important roles in the film. The film proved to be a commercial success and was included in the list of highest-grossing films of 2014 which has rating of 5.0 on IMDb.
