
Ingredients
Kuttu flour – 1 cup
Sama rice or boiled potato (grated) – ½ cup
Curd – 4 cups (slight sour)
Rock salt – as per taste
Eno Fruit Salt – ½ tsp (or baking soda pinch)
Water – as required
Ghee/Oil – To Greece
Recipe
First of all, add kuttu flour and Sama rice or grated boiled potatoes in a bowl.
– Add curd and some water to make thick solution.
– Add rock salt as per taste and mix well.
– Keep the solution for 10-15 minutes.
– Grease the molds of the idli with ghee or oil.
– Add eno fruit salt just before cooking in steam and mix with light hands.
– The solution will flower. Put the solution in the molds of the idli.
– Cook in Idli cooker or steamer on medium heat for 10-12 minutes in steam.
Remove carefully and serve hot with coconut sauce or fasting coriander sauce.
