Lille OSC’s pursuit of Moroccan youth international Hamza Igamane (21) has hit an impasse, despite an agreement in principle between the player and the northern French club – according to a report from Sacha Tables.
The promising Rangers FC forward scored 12 goals in 33 matches last season in the Scottish Premiership. He moved to the Scottish club in a January move from AS FAR back in 2024 and has attracted attention after strong performances for Morocco’s U23 side and in last season’s Europa League.
LOSC had positioned themselves as frontrunners earlier this month, with negotiations well underway and personal terms settled with the player. However, talks with Rangers have stalled in recent days, with no agreement yet reached on a transfer fee.
In the meantime, Feyenoord have entered the race for Igamane, further complicating matters for DOGUES. Tables reports that Everton and Udinese have also registered their interest.
