Who was Salman Khans Grandmother? Once Salim Khan in a heartfelt revelation opened up about the challenges he faced early in his childhood. He shared that while he was just four years allowed he wasnt allowed to be near his mother as she was suffering from a highly contagious disease at the time tuberculosis (TB). In the throwback interview Salim shared that due to his mothers illness he couldnt receive the maternal warmth that every child deserves. Unfortunately his mother couldnt survive for long and passed away when Salim was only nine. This brief connection with his mother left him with a deep void that nobody could fill. Whats even sadder is that emotional turmoil and challenges didnt stop for Salim. After 5 years of losing his mother he met another cruel blow. He lost his father Abdul Rashid Khan too at the tender age of 14. Salim Khan was orphaned. This immense loss at such an early age left Salim Khan with a great emotional void and sensitivity. At a tender age he had to navigate his life all by himself without the shield of his parents a very difficult and challenging situation for anyone. However Salim Khan did not lose hope. He carved a niche for himself garnering a lot of love and attention. Today Salman Khan fans are quite aware of his Khan clan his siblings Arbaaz and Sohail Khan and their careers in Bollywood as well as his brothers-in-law Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma. But very few knew about Salman Khans grandmother Siddiqa Bano Khan who was battling a fatal disease.
