Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, known for his composed public persona, recently had an uncharacteristic moment when he confronted a paparazzo stationed outside his iconic residence, Jalsa, in Mumbai.
The moment, which was captured on video and shared widely online, showed the superstar visibly displeased with a cameraman for filming him without permission.
Big B Snaps At Paparazzo Outside His Home
In a video that surfaced on Reddit, the 81-year-old actor is seen stepping out of his house dressed in his signature white kurta-pyjama paired with an off-white shawl. Upon noticing a paparazzo recording him, he swiftly approaches and firmly says, "Aye, nahi. Ye mat nikalo, band karo (Hey, don't do it, stop it)!"
While Amitabh Bachchan is generally known for maintaining a respectful and cordial relationship with the media, this unexpected outburst underscores the challenges of navigating constant public attention—especially when boundaries of privacy are crossed. The exact date of the incident remains undisclosed.
Amitabh Bachchan Returns To KBC 17
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is set to return as host for the 17th season of the iconic quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, which premieres on August 11.
Speaking about this season’s campaign, he said, “Kaun Banega Crorepati has always stood as a celebration of knowledge and the quiet pride that comes with it. This year’s campaign, ‘jahan akal hai, wahan akad hai,’ captures that sentiment beautifully and encourages people to take pride in their intellect and to walk tall with the confidence that comes from truly knowing.”
A Packed Slate: Kalki 2898 AD, Brahmastra 2 & Section 84
Following the success of Kalki 2898 AD, Bachchan is set to reprise his impactful role as Ashwatthama in the film’s second part. The ambitious futuristic epic, inspired by the Mahabharata, stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan.
He is also expected to appear in Brahmastra Part Two, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, though updates on the film’s production have yet to surface.
