New Delhi: Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the first T20 match played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday 20 July to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. After winning the toss and deciding to bowl first Bangladesh performed brilliantly and bundled out Pakistan for just 110 runs. Where did Pakistan collapse? Pakistan did not have a good start. Opener Saim Ayub (6 off 4 balls) was out for 18 runs. After this the middle order collapsed badly. However Parvez Emon played cautiously and scored an unbeaten 56 runs in 39 balls and stabilised the innings.
