90% rainfall of the year in 31 days in this district of MP, average in many areas

MP News: This time in a district of Madhya Pradesh, the monsoon became active ahead of time and about 90% of the annual average rainfall has been completed in just 31 days. The normal average is considered to be 816.3 mm, while 735.12 mm of rain has been recorded so far. Now only 81.18 mm and rain is needed so that the average of the whole year can be completed.

After light rains in June, a period of heavy rains started from the beginning of July, due to which there was no water scarcity in the district. Till this time last year, there was 323.95 mm of rain, while this time it has received 411.17 mm more rainfall so far.

In some tehsils of the district like Narwar and Karaira, the average quota has already crossed. Narwar has received 1061 mm of rain so far, which is the highest. Apart from this, Karaira recorded 866.9 mm, 747 in Khaniyadhana, 725 in Bairad, 680-680 in Badarwas and Pichor, 675 in Pohri, 592.5 in Kolaras and 588.7 mm at district headquarters. Meanwhile, 112 mm of rainfall was recorded in Bairad and 77 mm in Narwar.

At the same time, 6 gates were opened in Madikheda Dam till 12 noon, but after the water level decreased, 4 gates were closed and 25 cumes of water are being released from 2 gates. 135 cumecs of water continues separately for power generation.
