On July 18, Georgina posted photos of her visit to the Sanctuary of Fatima, a famous Catholic religious site in Ronaldo’s home country. In the photos, she is seen wearing a thin, sleeveless dress and a cap, with her shoulders and arms exposed.

Her outfit sparked backlash from some social media users who considered it disrespectful to the religious setting, Mark reported.

“Please don’t wear a hat in church. Maybe it’s acceptable in Saudi Arabia, but not in Portugal,” one person commented.

Another added: “Never wear a hat in church. It’s disrespectful and next time, cover your shoulders when entering a church, thank you.”

According to traditional etiquette, when visiting Catholic churches, modest dress is expected, with shoulders and knees covered. Visitors wearing more revealing outfits are advised to bring a scarf or a cover.

Georgina Rodriguez, an Argentine-Spanish model, has been in a relationship with Ronaldo since 2016. The couple share two children. In 2017, Georgina gave birth to their daughter, and in 2022, she delivered twins, though the boy unfortunately passed away during birth. Ronaldo also has three other children born via surrogacy.

Ronaldo’s family have accompanied hom through his career across Spain, Italy, England and currently Saudi Arabia. He recently signed a two-year extension with Al Nassr, following the end of his initial contract. Daily Mail reported that his annual salary has been raised to $245 million.
