India will be aiming to win the fourth Test at Old Trafford in Manchester which will commence from July 23. It will be a do-or-die match for India and a victory would keep Indias hope alive for first Test series win in England in 18 years. India star pacer Mohammed Siraj reflected on the heartbreaking 22-runs defeat at Lords ahead of the crucial fourth Test. Siraj alongside Jadeja put up a strong fight during the final session on Day 5 helping India closer to the target. However his resistance came to an end when he attempted to defend a Shoaib Bashir delivery that rolled onto the stumps with the bails falling off. Mohammed Siraj reflects on Jadejas knock “I had taken the final wicket in 2021 as well. I am a very emotional person; it could have been 2-1. Jaddu bhai fought very hard. But then I said to myself that the series is not over and I will work on my batting. We kept working hard on our batting since Australia. The 22-run loss was heartbreaking” Siraj said during the pre-match press conference. Siraj further said “To middle the ball and still get bowled the way we were batting together I was feeling confident and thought I will not get out today. But it was unlucky and it was heartbreaking because the result could have been entirely different” he added Siraj on his on-field aggresion The dramatic Test at Lord’s also provoked an emotional response particularly due to Sirajs aggression in the last innings concerning his operation with England’s batters especially Joe Root. There are no plans regarding this. When you are bowling you are bowling you are in another zone; your focus is on taking wickets so you dont know what you say. You want to divert the batter like when i asked RootWhere is the Bazball? Siraj also said he will continue to play the fourth Test in Manchester with same aggresion and energy as it is part of the game.
