Update process
1. First, find out your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
2. Go there and fill the correction form and don’t forget to choose the option of address update.
3. Fill your name, mobile number and Aadhaar details in the form.
4. Attach the photocopy form of the proof of the new address.
5. Take your original documents along for verification.
6. After submitting the form, your biometric verification will be done and your photo will also be taken.
7. If everything goes well, your old address will be updated from the new address.
8. Next, Aadhaar will be sent to your new address in a few days on paying a minor fee.
Benefits of online process
All these works take about 1 to 2 hours. However, if you do half the work online, you will only have to go to the center for verification. You can fill the form online, but keep in mind that you can update online only 4 times.
