
The city-state earned a travel rating of 68 supported by a high safety score, a mild 26 degrees Celsius average temperature, and 544 hotels catering to international visitors.
The report also highlighted 875 tourist activities available across Singapore and noted that the country has generated 2.3 million Instagram posts.
The study assessed destinations outside Europe as alternatives to increasingly crowded European hotspots. Evaluations were based on five factors: safety, hotel availability, number of tourist activities, climate conditions, and Instagram popularity.
The United Arab Emirates topped the list, followed by Qatar.
Known for its low crime rates and high safety levels, Singapore has become a favorite destination of foreign tourists.
Earlier this year, it was named the safest country in Southeast Asia, according to a report published by Numbeo, the world’s largest database of user-contributed data.
