
Honor has launched its new premium tablet Honor Pad GT 2 Pro in China. This tablet is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and is introduced in two attractive colors ice crystal white and Phantom Gray. It has options for up to 16GB and 512GB storage.
Price and variants
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model of Honor Pad GT 2 Pro is priced at CNY 2,499 (about ₹ 30,000). Other variants – 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB priced CNY 2,699, CNY 2,999 and CNY 3,399 (about ₹ 32,000 to ₹ 40,000) respectively.
Display and design
This tablet comes with a 12.5-inch 3k LCD display, which has a resolution of 2,032×3,048 pixels. The refresh rate of the screen goes up to a maximum of 165Hz and provides peak brightness of 1,000 notes. The display also has 89% screen-to-body ratio.
Performance and Software
Honor Pad GT 2 Pro, Android works on 15 based magicos 9.0.1. It has Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor, which supports better performance and multitasking. Apart from this, it has a 13-layer three-dimensional heat management system, which covers 44,203mm² cooling area.
Camera and multimedia
The tablet has a 13MP camera on the rear, while the front has an 8MP selfie camera. It has 8 speakers and 3 microphones which improve audio experience.
Battery and connectivity
Honor Pad GT 2 Pro has a 10,100mAh battery which supports 66W fast charging. The company claims that this device may be full charge in 73 minutes. For connectivity, options like Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, OTG and USB TYPE-C are available.
The weight of this tablet is 532 grams and thickness is 5.95mm, which makes it a thin and light device.
