It appeared that Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah had put their long-standing feud behind them in 2024, especially after Badshah publicly extended an olive branch. However, tensions seem to have resurfaced.
On Tuesday, Badshah took a fresh swipe at Honey Singh while responding to an X (formerly Twitter) post.
Badshah’s Dig at Honey Singh
An X user shared pictures of Honey Singh highlighting his drastic physical transformation with the caption, “What did he eat?” To this, Badshah responded with a one-word comment: “Credits.”
Badshah has previously claimed that he wrote the lyrics for Honey Singh’s hit track Brown Rang and also contributed to the popular party anthem Angrezi Beat.

Badshah And Honey Singh's Feud
For the unversed, Badshah and Honey Singh started their careers together as part of the rap group Mafia Mundeer, which also included artists like Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar. The group produced several hit tracks such as Khol Botal, Begani Naar Buri, and Delhi Ke Deewane.
However, after their last performance in 2012, internal conflicts led to the group’s split, with Badshah and Honey often taking indirect jibes at each other on social media.
Badshah Once Tried to Make Peace
Interestingly, in 2024, Badshah had made a public effort to reconcile with Honey Singh. During a concert in Dehradun, he said, “There was a phase in my life when I held a grudge against one person, and now I want to call it quits and leave that behind – and that’s Honey Singh."
He continued, "I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding, but I realised that when we were together, there were far fewer people trying to bring us together than those trying to break us apart. Today, I just want to let everyone know I’ve moved on, and I wish him all the best.”
