SSC Exam Rules 2025: New Strict Guidelines Issued — Violation May Lead to Cancellation of Candidature

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a new set of strict examination rules for its upcoming recruitment exams such as CHSL, CGL, MTS, CPO, and others. These guidelines, released on July 21, 2025, aim to strengthen the integrity and transparency of the examination process. Candidates are strictly advised to adhere to these rules, as even minor violations can lead to disqualification or legal action.

🔒 Key Guidelines You Must Follow:

  1. Mandatory Documents at Exam Centre:

    • Admit Card (Printout)

    • Valid Original Photo ID Proof, such as:

      • Aadhaar Card

      • Passport

      • Voter ID

      • Driving License

      • PAN Card

      • Government/College/School-issued ID

    • If there is a mismatch in Date of Birth between Admit Card and ID Proof, you must also carry original Class 10 Marksheet or Birth Certificate.

  2. Live Monitoring & Surveillance:

    • Video surveillance will be used throughout the exam process.

    • Live photography will be done during entry, exam time, and exit.

    • Frisking and physical checks will be carried out to ensure security.

  3. Arrival Timing is Critical:

    • Candidates must reach the center before gate closing time.

    • No one will be allowed entry after the gates are closed, under any circumstances.

⚠️ Things You Cannot Carry:

Strictly prohibited items inside exam centers:

  • Mobile phones

  • Smartwatches

  • Books or Notes

  • Pens

  • Electronic gadgets of any kind

✅ You may carry a transparent water bottle only.

📸 Serious Consequences for Malpractice:

  • Any attempt at cheating, misbehavior, or rule violation will lead to immediate cancellation of your exam.

  • Future SSC exam eligibility may also be affected.

  • Legal action may be initiated by the commission.

♿ Facilities for Differently-Abled Candidates:

  • Must carry a valid disability certificate in the prescribed SSC format.

  • Allowed 20 extra minutes per hour during the exam.

  • Scribe assistance is allowed, but the scribe must not be an SSC exam candidate.
