Diamond Tankard, known for appearing on Bravo’s reality show Thicker Than Waterhas been arrested in Antioch, Tennessee, following a violent incident at a Walmart store. The 21-year-old reality TV star was charged with assaulting a young woman and stealing her belongings, according to U.S. media outlets.
Authorities report that the incident took place at the self-checkout area of the store. Tankard allegedly approached the woman from behind, grabbed her by the hair, and began physically assaulting her. Surveillance footage shows Tankard repeatedly striking the victim in the face using a sock filled with a heavy object—believed to be a rock. At the time of the assault, Tankard was reportedly wearing an ankle monitor, indicating she may have already been under legal supervision.
The assault left the woman seriously injured and bleeding from the head. She was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. The footage of the incident has since gone viral on social media, where users have expressed shock and outrage over the brutality of the attack.
In addition to the assault, police say that Tankard also stole the victim’s iPhone 14, valued at approximately $1,500, as well as a Louis Vuitton handbag worth $900. These thefts further escalated the severity of the charges brought against her.
Tankard was taken into custody and later released on a $25,000 bond. She now faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft. The victim has also filed formal charges against her, citing the use of a dangerous weapon and personal injury.
This is not the first time Tankard has faced legal troubles. In December of last year, she was charged with attempted murder and fleeing the scene of an accident. Her legal history and recent arrest have sparked renewed scrutiny and criticism from the public and fans of the show.
Diamond Tankard’s next court hearing is scheduled for August 22. As the case unfolds, it continues to attract attention across social media and entertainment news platforms.
Tankard rose to fame through Thicker Than Watera Bravo reality series that followed the lives of the Tankard family. However, her recent actions have cast a shadow over her public image, raising serious concerns about her behavior and legal standing.
