Deer Magri police station area case, wife strangled, poisoned children, Miludapur hanged from themselves. A heartbreaking incident came to light on Friday in Prabhat Nagar of Magri police station area of the city.
A person struggling with financial crisis first brutally murdered his wife and two innocent sons, then committed suicide by hanging himself. This incident has caused the entire region to burn.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Dilip Chitara (40), who was living in a rented house with his wife Alka (37) and two sons Manveer (10) and Khushbir (3). Neighbors suspected something untoward at around 12 noon on Friday afternoon when the door of his house was closed since night. When the police broke the door on the information, the inner scene was going to give a sham.
Dileep's body was found hanging in the room, while the bodies of wife Alka and both the children were lying on the bed. Initial investigation revealed that Dileep strangled the wife to death with a wire, and poisoned the two children. He then committed suicide.
Dilip's uncle Manak Chitara said that about 5-6 months ago, Dileep had waged a loan. He had advised him to sell the house and repay the loan. After this, Dileep did not talk again on this subject. A few days ago he met him at the shop and there was a general family discussion. Nobody feared that he would take such a dreadful step.
According to family acquaintances and neighbors, the Dileep was of calm nature, but he had been under stress for the last few months. The police have not received any suicide note from the room, but financial constraints are believed to be the main reason for this tragedy.
This incident has raised many questions:
Could Dileep ask for help in time?
If the neighborhood, society or administration could understand its mental state, then this accident could have been averted?
The three bodies have been sent for post -mortem and the police is conducting a detailed investigation into the case. After the incident, there is mourning in Prabhat Nagar. Those who knew Dileep and his family are in deep shock.
This painful event forces us to think once again that the economic crisis can be overwhelming not only on the pocket, but also the desire of a human being and the desire to live. In time, dialogue, cooperation and sensitivity can avoid such tragedies.
