
BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025: There is good news for the youth dreaming of a government job in the Border Security Force (BSF). Notification has been issued for the recruitment of more than 3500 posts of BSF Constable Tradesman. The application process for this recruitment has started from 25 July 2025, and candidates can apply till 25 August 2025.
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of BSF rectt.bsf.gov.in. Posts have been released for various trades in the recruitment, which include Cook, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, and others.
Educational Qualification
Candidate must have passed the 10th from a recognized board. Also, it may be necessary to have ITI or experience in the relevant trade (which will be decided according to the post).
Age Limit and Physical Criteria
Candidate's age for BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025 should be between 18 and 25 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to Scheduled Caste, Tribe, OBC, and other reserved categories as per government rules.
Talking about physical eligibility, the height of male candidates should be at least 165 cm and chest 75 to 80 cm, while the minimum height of female candidates has been fixed at 155 cm. However, relaxation will be provided to reserved categories in physical parameters as per the rules.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Candidates for BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025 will be selected in several stages, including PST (Physical Standard Test), PET (Physical Efficiency Test), written test, document verification, trade test, and medical test. In the written examination, 25 25 questions related to General Knowledge, Mathematics, Hindi/English, and Analytical Aptitude will be asked.
Salary and Facilities
Candidates selected for the post of Constable Tradesman will get a salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month under Pay Matrix Level-3. Along with this, they will also be given many government facilities like medical, travel allowance, ration, and house rent allowance (HRA).
No application fee for women
In this recruitment process, candidates of the general, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 150. Whereas SC, ST, and women candidates are exempted from the application fee, that is, the application is free for them.
