
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): For the first time in the state, the Higher Education Department has prepared 50 model syllabi for Post Graduate (PG) courses, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP).
The PG courses have been categorised into PG Diploma, 1-year PG Programme, and 2-year PG Programme.
A senior officer from the Higher Education department stated that the centralised PG syllabi will be implemented in all colleges and universities simultaneously.

Under the PG Arts faculty, courses have been prepared under 24 heads, including Vedha, Astrology Science, Yoga, and Dance.
It is worth mentioning that topics related to ancient Indian knowledge have been incorporated in some form in relevant courses. For instance, PG Diploma in Hindi Literature (1st semester) includes a chapter on ‘Ancient Indian Tradition and Hindi Literature’.
The second paper of PG Diploma (1-year) also has ‘Ancient Indian Tradition and Chandra Bardai’s Prithviraj Raso’. In the third paper, students will study a novel on Ahilyabai.
