There have been many actors and actresses in the Bollywood industry who did not want to work with each other and in some way or the other they used to remove each other from the films. A similar case happened with this 1986 film which has cloaked 39 years since its release. Which film is this? Here we are talking about the 1986 film ‘Nasihat’ which stars Late Rajesh Khanna Shabana Azmi Deepti Naval and Mithun Chakraborty in lead roles. But did you know that first it was offered to the Late Shashi Kapoor? Shashi Kapoor was initially supposed to be seen as the lead actor in the film Nasihat but he did not want to work with Shabana Azmi so he asked the producer to replace her. But then what happened was that he later got replaced by Rajesh Khanna in the film. Why did Shashi Kapoor wanted to replace Shabana Azmi in Nasihat? Shabana Azmi was signed opposite Shashi Kapoor in the film Nasihat but Shashi Kapoor was pressuring the director and producer to replace Shabana Azmi. But then the makers decided to replace Shashi Kapoor with Rajesh Khanna. Meanwhile it has not been cleared to date why Shashi Kapoor refused to work with Shabana in the film because earlier he had mentioned that he keeps her as high regard for her impeccable acting and screen presence. What was the storyline of Nasihat? The storyline centers around Indrani (Tanuja) the daughter of multi-millionaire Seth Ratanlal who falls in love with honest Dinesh and announces that she is expecting his child. Mohanlal (Kader Khan) a conniving and ambitious servant betrays the family. He frames Dinesh for running away and seizes control of the business. Seth Ratanlal leaves the city and Indrani under pressure is forced into marrying Mohanlal. Fifteen years later the children of these relationships collide. Rajesh Verma (Rajesh Khanna) son of a murdered accountant seeks revenge while Sunita (Shabana Azmi) Dinesh’s daughter is caught between love and family loyalty. More about Nasihat Nasihat was directed and produced by Aravind Sen under the banner of Lalit Kala Mandir. The story was written by Prafulla Roy with screenplay by Suhrid Kar and dialogues penned by the veteran actor Late Kader Khan. Apart from lead actors the film featured Tanuja Late Amjad Khan Kader Khan Aruna Irani Satyendra Kapoor Shriram Lagoo and others in pivotal roles.
