The effect of the low-pressure area (area of low pressure) arising from the Bay of Bengal is also being seen in Madhya Pradesh, leading to extremely heavy rainfall. The water level of Pagara Dam in Morena district crossed the danger mark and reached 655.88 feet. All its 6 automatic gates were opened.

A yellow alert for heavy rain sounded in Bhopal, Gwalior, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Khandwa, and Harda.
