News India Live, Digital Desk: Designed Terrorist: India has received a major setback to Salayadin alias Mohammad Yusuf Shah, the desired notorious terrorist and the supreme commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Pakistan -based terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen. An NIA (National Investigation Agency) court in Delhi has declared him a ‘fugitive criminal’ proclaimed offnder in a case to terrorism financing Terror Funding. The decision will pave the way for further legal action in the case, including attachment of his property and efforts to bring India. The court order has come at a time when India strictly persists on its zero-tolerance policy against terrorism operating from Pakistan. The court has taken this tough decision on disregarding the conventions and notices issued under Section 82 (Declaration of Fugitive Criminal) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). This means that in the eyes of the law, now Salahuddin will be considered a person who is deliberately avoiding the legal process after committing the crime. In its charge sheet, the NIA accused Syed Salahuddin that he used to collect funds from across the border and used to carry out terrorist activities in India, especially in India, to carry out terrorist activities. These funds were also used to make Kashmiri youth radical and instigate them for terrorist acts. In this case, some other accused like Mohammad Shafi Shah, Firoz Ahmed Bhatt and Mohammad Masor Bhatt were also included against whom the charge sheet has been filed under various sections of the illegal activities (prevention) Act UAPA. The US also listed him as a global terrorist. This latest decision of the NIA court further strengthens India’s efforts towards bringing terrorists to the dock of justice and demolishing their network.
