Ingredients
- White or brown bread slices – 4 to 6
- Milk – 1 cup
- Vanilla custard powder – 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 2 tbsp (or as per taste)
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
- Chopped dry fruits – 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla essence – few drops
How to make Milk Custard Toast – Learn Step by Step Recipe

First of all, heat the milk in a vessel. Add sugar to it and mix it.
Step 2:
Now take some cold milk in a bowl and mix custard powder in it. Slowly add this solution to the hot milk and keep stirring continuously.
Step 3:
When the custard thickens, turn off the gas and let it cool. If you want, you can add vanilla essence to it.
Step 4:
Now take bread slices and spread the prepared custard on them. Add dry fruits on top.
Step 5:
Heat butter on a non-stick pan and fry the custard coated bread from bottom (top layer should not remain raw but should not be toasted either). Fry on low flame till it becomes slightly crisp.
Step 6:
Once it is golden brown, take it out on a toast plate and serve after cooling slightly.
