We have witnessed several actors launching their kids in the film industry to help them build a career in the same profession. However renowned Tamil actor Krishnamurthy Narayanans son broke all the norms and carved an identity of his own. Instead of following his fathers footsteps he pursued an entirely different field and garnered success. Who is Chinni Jayanths son? Krishnamurthy known by his stage name Chinni Jayanth is one of the most popular Tamil stars known for his comedy roles in 80s films opposite Rajnikanth. His son Srutanjay Narayanan was an active member in the cultural society took part in plays and other events as well. He developed interest in theatre and loved to explore his creative side. However his parents wanted him to continue his education as he excelled in academics. After school he went on to pursue graduation from the College of Engineering Guindy. Later he pursued Masters from Ashoka University. Srutanjay Narayanan cracked UPSC exam with AIR... Following his Masters Srutanjay began working in a start-up and was earning well. However it was during that time he decided to give up acting and prepare for UPSC civil services. He studied diligently every day for 4-5 hours and continued his job along. Thereafter he began investing 10-12 hours in studying. In 2015 his hard work finally paid off as he cracked the UPSC exam with an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 75. In just second attempt he became an IAS officer. While his father wanted to see him pursue a career in the film industry he is proud that his son chose a different profession and is an IAS officer. Srutanjay is currently posted as the Sub Collector in Tamil Nadus Trippur district.
