Washington: The whole world knows that Pakistan not only shelters terrorists, but also promotes them. From time to time, these black misdeeds of Pakistan have been exposed on the global stage. But in spite of this, the policy of America and terrorism of Pakistan has always been under question.
On the one hand, the US impose a ban on TRF, while on the other hand, Pakistan is falsely appreciated in the name of fighting terrorism. This dual policy is now in discussion again. On Friday, there was a meeting between Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. In this meeting, Rubio praised Pakistan’s alleged efforts against terrorism and patted it on the back. Along with this, many other important issues were also discussed between the two countries.
Pakistan appreciated for terrorism
The statement of the US Foreign Minister about terrorism and Pakistan came at a time when the US declared TRF, an organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba, active in Pakistan, a few days ago. This is the same organization that took responsibility for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people were killed.
On Friday, there was a meeting between Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. During this time Rubio appreciated and supported Pakistan’s role against terrorism. Bilateral relations and other important issues were also discussed between the two leaders.
Trying to take credit for ceasefire
In the month of May, there was a conflict between India and Pakistan. India targeted the bases of terrorist organizations operating in Pakistan under ‘Operation Sindoor’. This military campaign lasted for about four days. After this, on May 10, the two countries announced a ceasefire. The United States has tried several times to give credit to the ceasefire itself, although India has clearly dismissed these claims.
On one hand, the US talks about taking a tough stance against terrorism on global forums, on the other hand, shows close to countries which are considered patron of terror. This raises questions on his policy. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who arrived in America, made a statement that he expresses his gratitude for reducing tension between India and Pakistan and the role of America in the ceasefire.
Crossing border continuously promotes terrorism
India has been continuously alleging that the government of Pakistan and its army promote terrorism across the border. Pakistan not only provides financial assistance to terrorist organizations, but also provides them weapons and other resources. From time to time, India has introduced concrete evidence to Pakistan’s terrorist activities on international forums. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has also said that while India believes in promoting tourism, Pakistan is considering terrorism as a serious threat to peace and security of the whole world.
