The department has given clear instructions to all the ration depots to ensure the e-KYC of every beneficiary associated with the Public Distribution System (PDS). For this, biometric devices have been installed at the ration depot, through which people can easily do their E-KYC. Realizing this problem of the people, the Haryana government has now found a great solution. Those who have difficulty in going to the ration depot, they can now E-KYC from their home via mobile phone. Yes, now you do not need to stand in long lines or visit the depot again and again.

‘My e-KYC’ app starts

The Food Department has launched a special mobile app named ‘My E-Kyc’ to make this process easier. Through this app, people can complete their E-KYC very easily with the help of face authentication. Just you have to download the app, and verify your identity by following some easy steps. This facility will prove to be a boon, especially for the elderly and those who have trouble going to the depot again and again.
