Fruit Custard Recipe: In summers, when you feel like eating something cold, tasty and quick to make sweet, then there is hardly any better option than fruit custard. Made from milk and lots of fresh fruits, this dessert is not only healthy, but also looks so colorful that even children cannot refuse it.

The special thing about this is that after making it once, keep it in the fridge and serve it whenever you feel like it.

Ingredients

  • Milk –  500ml
  • Vanilla custard powder –  2 tbsp
  • Sugar –  3 tablespoons (according to taste)
  • Apple –  1 (cut into small pieces)
  • Banana –  1 (chopped)
  • Grapes –  10-12
  • Pomegranate –  2 tablespoons
  • Mango –  1/2 cup (chopped)

How to make Fruit Custard – Know the Step by Step Recipe

step 1:

First of all, boil the milk in a heavy bottom vessel. When the milk is lukewarm, add sugar to it and mix it well.

Step 2:

In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with 3–4 tbsp of cold milk so that there are no lumps.

Step 3:

Now slowly add the custard powder solution into the boiling milk and keep stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed in the milk.

Step 4:

Cook on low flame for 3–4 minutes until the custard thickens a little. Then turn off the gas and let it cool.

Step 5:

When the custard cools completely, add chopped fruits to it.

Step 6:

Now keep it in the fridge for 1–2 hours so that it chills well.

Serving Tips

  • Serve it chilled and if you want, you can also add dry fruits or chocolate syrup on top.
  • You can also make this for children’s birthdays.
