While Pedro Pascal, portraying the Dornish Prince Oberyn Martell, may have been the most notable figure from Westeros, he is not the sole character from the Seven Kingdoms who has made their mark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Pascal takes the lead as Reed Richards in Marvel’s First Family. The Chilean-born actor has delivered numerous impressive performances recently in The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, Materialists, and Eddington. Now, although he has brought his talent to the MCU from Westeros, he is not the only one with connections to that realm.
Wait! Joseph Queen Was In GoT Too?
Joseph Quinn portrays the dynamic Johnny Storm, also known as The Human Torch in First Steps, and has garnered significant praise for his performance in Strange Things as well. The actor has appeared in Warfare, Gladiator II, and A Quiet Place: Day One, but sharp-eyed GoT enthusiasts spotted his fleeting role in Season 7, as one of the disgruntled Winterfell guards who initially deny Arya Stark entry. He even had a line— “Look, it’s cold and we’re busy, so y’know, best f--- off”.

Galactus Too
The antagonist of First Steps, Galactus, the immense cosmic entity of destruction, is actually voiced by Ralph Ineson, another Game of Thrones veteran. Ineson, recognized for his performances in The Green Knight, Harry Potter, Chernobyl, and numerous video games, portrayed Dagmer Cleftjaw — the Ironborn raider who counsels Theon Greyjoy to take Winterfell… and ultimately betrays him.
Ted Gilbert is GoT Alumni As Well
Mark Gatiss plays Ted Gilbert in Fantastic Four: First Steps, an Ed Sullivan-style talk show host who provides an in-universe introduction to the origins of the Four. Gatiss, a multifaceted actor, writer, and producer (most recognized for Sherlock, Doctor Who, and Wolf Hall), also had a recurring role in Game of Thrones as Tycho Nestoris, the cold and unyielding representative of the Iron Bank of Braavos.
