The Indian Army has hunted the culprit of the Pahalgam attack after 98 days. On April 22, Hashim Musa alias Suleman Shah, the kingpin of a terrorist gang, who killed 26 people in Basaron Valley, was killed by the army on Monday in Operation Mahadev.
Operation Mahadev was running in the outskirts of Srinagar.
Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Suleman Shah is the former commando of the Elite Unit Special Service Group of the Pakistani Army. Suleman infiltrated India in September 2023 and was involved in terrorist activities in South Kashmir. Two more terrorists have also been killed in this operation.

The newspaper wrote that, "India's agencies are allegedly preparing to use innocent Pakistanis who have been forcibly detailed by India in a staged encounter and calling them a terrorist across the border."
The newspaper has not said that a Pakistani citizen was doing satellite phones and weapons in the forests of Kashmir. The army has recovered an M4 carbine rifle, two AK rifles and other weapons from the encounter site.
Pakistani Army spokesman Lt Gen Ahmed Chaudhary Sharif has claimed that 723 Pakistani citizens are lodged in India's jails. But the Pakistani army did not say how these 723 Pakistani citizens crossed the border and reached the border of India.
Dawn quoted sources in Pakistan's security agencies as saying that these detected people can be forced to make statements against Pakistan.
