Photos of the 76-year-old actress wearing the structured white shirt, wide-leg trousers, trech coat, red heels, and sunglasses quickly went viral on platforms such as Instagram, Threads, and X over the weekend.

The shirt, priced at VND1.5 million (US$57), is from the Spring-Summer 2025 collection by Vietnamese designer Tran Minh Dao. It aligns with the film’s lead stylist Patricia Field’s vision of updating Priestly’s wardrobe to blend modern elegance with a tech-savvy edge, reflecting the evolution of the fashion industry.

“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is slated for release in May 2026. Directed by David Frankel and inspired by the bestselling novel by American writer Lauren Weisberger, the original 2006 film followed Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), a fresh college graduate who lands a job as editor-in-chief Priestly’s assistant at Runway magazine. Streep married sculptor Don Gummer in 1978. Though they separated in 2017, the news was only made public in October 2023. They share four children and five grandchildren.
