Pakistani actor and director Yasir Hussain landed in hot water after sharing a controversial Instagram story about Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his bodyguard, Shera.
Yasir recently posted a screenshot of a headline on his Instagram Story that read: “Salman Khan marries his bodyguard Shera in a private ceremony.” Along with the screenshot, Yasir added a caption saying, “I hope this news is fake.”
As soon as the story went viral, social media users began criticizing Yasir Hussain for his remarks, coming out in strong support of Salman Khan.
One user expressed frustration, commenting, “Try saying something decent for once.” Another user called it a “disgusting comment.” A woman named Fariha Arshad wrote, “We don’t expect this from Salman Bhai,” while another named Sobia advised Yasir to stay quiet and stop spreading such “dirty rumors,” saying he should be ashamed of himself.
The rumor about Salman Khan marrying his longtime bodyguard Shera originated from a satirical Instagram post shared by the account @balance_singhh.
The post humorously claimed that Salman Khan had married Shera in a surprise wedding ceremony and even included a photo of Shera holding Salman affectionately.
However, the caption clearly stated that the news was fake and purely intended as a meme with no truth behind it.
Despite the satirical nature of the post, it sparked real reactions online, especially after Yasir Hussain’s comment, leading to widespread backlash.
