Moong dal toast is a healthy and protein-Rich Indian Breakfast Made with Soaked Moong Dal and Spices, Spread Over Bread Slices
Moong dal toast
  • Moong Dal – 1 Cup
  • Ginger – 1 inch piece
  • Green Chilli – 1
  • Salt
  • Cumin – 1 teaspoon
  • Finely chopped onion – 2
  • Finely chopped capsicum and tomato – half cup
  • Green Coriander – 1 tbsp
  • Bread Slice – 4
  • butter
  • Add soaked moong dal to ginger, green chillies and some water and grind it in a grinder. The paste is neither very thin nor too thick.
  • Now add salt, cumin, finely chopped vegetables and green coriander to this paste.
  • Take bread slices and spread this paste of this lentils on one side.
  • Then heat the griddle, add some ghee or butter. Keep the side of the bread paste down and bake on low flame.
  • Now turn the other side and cook lightly. Bake both sides until golden brown. Then serve with curd.

  • Sweet potato – 3
  • Lemon – 1
  • Rock salt
  • Roasted cumin powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Green Coriander – 1 teaspoon
  • Pomegranate grains – 2 tablespoons
  • Green chutney
  • First take 2-3 big sweet sweet potato and wash them thoroughly and boil them till 2-3 whistles in the pressure cooker. When the sweet potato becomes cold, remove its peel and cut it into small pieces.
  • Now put pieces of chopped sweet potato in a mixing bowl. Add black salt, a pinch of red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder and half lemon juice as per taste. Then add finely chopped green coriander over the top.
  • If you want to enhance more taste, you can add green chutney and sweet tamarind sauce on top. Also add some pomegranate grains, which will not only enhance the taste but will also make the chaat colorful to see.
  • Mix it with light hands and serve immediately.
  • Rajgira Dough – 1 Cup
  • Curd – 2 tablespoons
  • Green Chilli – 1
  • Ginger – 1 inch
  • Green Coriander – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Ghee
  • Add Rajgira flour, curd, green chillies, ginger, green coriander and salt to a bowl.
  • Now prepare a thin batter by adding some water.
  • Then heat the griddle, add some ghee.
  • Now spread 1 spoon of batter on the pan, give a round shape with light hands.
  • After this, cover and roast on low flame. Then turn around and bake on the other side.
