Ingredients
- Jowar flour – 1 cup
- Rice flour – 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt – 2 tablespoons
- Ginger – 1/2 inch (grated)
- Green chilli – 2 finely chopped
- Green coriander – 1 tablespoon
- salt to taste
- Oil – for frying
How to make Jowar Dosa – Step by Step Recipe
step 1:
Mix jowar flour, rice flour, curd, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt in a mixing bowl. Now prepare a thin batter by adding water little by little. Keep in mind that there should be no lumps in it.
Step 2:
Keep the batter covered for 10 to 15 minutes so that it gets mixed well.
Step 3:
Now heat a non-stick pan. Sprinkle some oil and pour the batter and spread it with a spoon to make a round dosa. Bake it on low flame till it becomes crispy on both sides.
Step 4:
When the dosa becomes light golden, take it out in a plate and serve it with chutney or sambar of your choice.
Serving Tips
- You can serve it with coconut chutney, tomato chutney or sambar.
- If you want, you can make it even healthier by filling dosa with paneer or vegetable stuffing.
- You can also keep it in children’s tiffin.
