The Indian Railways has made an important decision on the ongoing arbitrary arbitration of the agents and the fake accounts on the app. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnava has informed about this in the Lok Sabha. Why did 2.5 crore accounts closed?

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishni said that all the accounts on which the actions were taken were made by fake identity, using agents and brokers to book immediately. The Railway Data Analysis team has said that these accounts have been identified and blocked. The goal of this decision is to give ordinary travelers to the right opportunity and to curb black marketing and intermediaries.

The new immediate rules were implemented from July 1

Linked IRCTC Account Aadhaar has become mandatory. Now only Aadhaar-Vehral users can book tickets immediately. This will stop the ticket booking with fake identity cards and only the true travelers will give priority. Railway Minister said that 89 per cent of the total railway tickets are now booked online through IRCTC websites or apps.

There is difficulty in logging at IRCTC

It is easier to book a ticket from IRCTC. Apart from this, changing rules are giving more priority to ordinary users. Often it is difficult to login to IRCTC users or often happen that users forget the password. • First, go to the ICTC website from the browser.
• On the page that appears in front, tap on the three-mill menu in the upper right corner and click on the ‘Login’ option.
• Here you will see the ‘Forgot Account Details’ option.
• After you click on this option, a new page will open, here you will have to share IRCTC Userman or Registered Email ID.
• Now enter the captcha and click on the ‘Next’ button below.
• Now your registered mobile number or email will come to the ID.
• Now you have to add OTP and new password and another CAPTCHA.
• After filling all the information, click on the ‘Password Update’ button in the box below.
• After following this entire process, your password will be reset.
