
Introduction to Mahila Samman Yojana
The Delhi government has launched a new scheme to empower women financially, which is called Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana. The scheme was announced by former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday, when he presented a budget of financial year 2024-25. Chief Minister Atishi said that under this scheme, the first two installments of Rs 1,000 will be sent to their accounts by the end of the current financial year under this scheme. Apart from this, Kejriwal said that after the next assembly elections, this amount will be increased to Rs 2,100.

First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Delhi government. There, you have to download the application form. Subsequently, the application form has to be filled and attached to the necessary documents. Finally, it will have to be submitted to the nearest government office.
Required documents
After submitting the form, the concerned officers will check your application. If your application is approved after verification, you will be informed about it. The documents required for the application include Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, bank account details, and proof of address such as electricity bills, water bills or ration cards. If you do not have these documents, your application may be rejected.
