43-year-old actress Maki Yoko has confirmed that she is expecting her second child with boyfriend Katsushika Shin, 27.

According to ZnewsJapanese outlet Oricon reported that Maki shared the news through a video in which she proudly revealed her baby bump.
“I, Yoko Maki, am pregnant,” she said. “I’ve reached the stage where I can feel the baby move.”
Describing the pregnancy as “a miracle,” Maki said she is overjoyed but also cautious.
“Since I’m having a baby at an older age, I’m paying close attention to my mental health and surroundings,” she added. “I hope everyone will be kind to me until I give birth.”

Maki made her acting debut in 2001 and gained widespread recognition for her roles in the 2004 horror films “Infection” and “The Grudge.”
She married actor Reio Katayama in 2008 and gave birth to her first daughter in 2009. The couple divorced in 2015.
In 2023, Maki went public with her relationship with Katsushika, a lesser-known actor reportedly from a wealthy family. He appeared in a supporting role in the 2025 crime series “Keishicho Mayaku Torishimarika Mogura.”
