Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has invited applications for admission to vacant seats in class 11th for the session 2025-26. Interested students can apply online or offline till August 10, 2025.

If you dream of studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and have passed class 10th with good marks this time, then there is some good news for you. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has started the application process for admission in class 11th in the academic session 2025-26.

This opportunity is being given to fill the vacant seats in Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. The committee has clarified that eligible students can apply by any means online or offline. The last date for submission of application has been fixed as August 10, 2025.

Who can apply?

Date of birth should be between 1 June 2008 to 31 July 2010 (both days inclusive). The student should have passed 10th in the session 2024-25 from a recognized school (affiliated to CBSE or State Board) in the same district where the JNV is located. The student must have obtained at least 60% marks (first division) in 10th.

If the student wants to choose science stream, then 60% or more marks in science subject are also required. For those choosing mathematics subject, it is necessary to have 60% or more marks in mathematics in 10th.

Basis of admission

There will be no entrance exam in this admission process. Students will be enrolled on the basis of their 10th class marks. That is, it will be a completely merit based admission process.
