Rajiv Singh of DLF has emerged as India’s richest real estate developer in the GROHE-Hurun India Real Estate Rich List 2025 with a net worth of Rs 1.27 lakh crore. He is followed by Mangal Prabhat Lodha and family of Lodha Developers at Rs 92340 crore while Gautam Adani and family of Adani Realty occupy the third spot with Rs 52320 crore in real estate wealth. The report shows strong regional representation with four of the top 10 names coming from Bengaluru three from Mumbai two from Hyderabad and Delhi-NCR and one from Ahmedabad. Atul Ruia of The Phoenix Mills saw a 10% rise in wealth. Vikas Oberoi also gained 5% reinforcing his position in the top five. Developers By Total Area Developed: DLF leads with 349 million sq ft of developed area. Godrej Properties follows with 223 million sq ft. Prestige Estates Projects ranks third with 180 million sq ft ahead of SOBHA (136 million sq ft) BL Kashyap & Sons (125 million sq ft) and Lodha Developers (100 million sq ft). Debt Reduction Leaders: Oberoi Realty cut its debt by Rs 1449 crore reducing total liabilities to Rs 2495 crore. Lodha Developers followed with a Rs 1363 crore reduction bringing its debt down to Rs 7698 crore. Other notable names in debt reduction include Juniper Hotels Omkar Realtors and Bagmane Developers.
