Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been received very well in India. The phone had recorded over 210,000 pre-orders within 48 hours, and it is now sold out in select markets across the country. The company has confirmed that it is ramping up production at its ‘Noida facility’ to meet the unprecedented demand. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is priced in India starting from Rs. 1,74,999. This increase in demand shows that demand for premium smartphones is on the rise in the Indian market.
Speaking about the demand, Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, MX Business, Samsung India, told TOI, “We would like to thank India’s tech-savvy consumers for giving the Galaxy Z Fold 7 a blockbuster start. We are aware that many markets in the country are facing a shortfall due to huge demand. We are working overtime to ensure adequate supplies of our more advanced smartphone, to enable customers to enjoy the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at the earliest. The strong demand is coming from both retail markets and online platforms.”
To recap the pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. The phone is priced at Rs. 1,74,999, Rs. 1,86,999, and Rs. 2,10,999, respectively. The phone is the thinnest foldable from the company.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 debuts with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy (Elite) chipset. It features an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display and a 6.5-inch cover screen, both offering 120Hz refresh rates. The phone is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor at just 215g, and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. With a 200-megapixel triple rear camera setup, Android 16-based One UI 8, and a 4,400mAh battery, it also introduces new AI tools like Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and Writing Assist.
