Delhi Metro Phase-4 Unveils Tricolor-Themed Driverless Trains with Advanced FEATURES

New delhi: The new driverless metro trains of the fourth phase (Phase-4) of Delhi Metro will display the spirit of patriotism. The tricolor theme has been included in these six-coach training. The first, Second, and Third Coaches will be saffron, white, and green, respectively, while the same sequence will be repeated in the fourth, fifth, and Sixth Coaches.

In this way, the entry train will be decorated with the colors of the tricolor, which will awake the spirit of patriotism among the passengers. At present, the first train of phase-4 has reacted delhi, and its trial is going on at Mukundpur Depot. Soon this train will start running on the metro corridor.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is purchasing a total of 52 training (352 coaches) for phase-4, which are eating manufactured in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. These new trains will be better than the old metro trains in many respects. Their maximum speed will be 95 km per hour, while phase-3 trains run at a speed of only 80 km per hour.

Also, these trains will make less noise, which will reduce noise pollution. Unlike Phase-3 Trains, The Seats in these new trains will not be colorful. Mobile and Laptop Charging Facility will be available for passengers in all coaches. Three New Corridors are Being Built Under Phase-4 -The Janakpuri West-RK Ashram Corridor, The Maujpur-Majlis Park Corridor, and the Golden Line (TUGHLAKABAD-Aerocity) Corridor.

The maujpur-majlis park corridor, which is an extension of the pink line, has been complete, and finishing work is going on at its five stations. The trial on this corridor has also been completed, and metro operations are expected to start here song.

Metro operations have started on the Janakpuri West-Rk Ashram Corridor, which is an extension of the magenta line, from Janakpuri West to Krishna Park Extension. The structure of the elevated Corridor from Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park has also been also been complete. According to the DMRC, 24 new trains (144 coaches) will be run on the magenta line, 15 trains (90 coaches) on the pink line, and 13 trains (78 coaches) on the Golden Line.

These new trains will have many advanced features, such as high-resolution cctv cameras, HVAC systems designed for passenger convenience, and low energy consumption. All the propulsion equipment installed in the train has been designed and manufactured in the country itself, promoting the ‘make in India’ initiative.

The materials used in the coach have been carefully selected to reduce the carbon footprint. More display units have been installed for the convenience of passengers. Thus, the fourth phase of the delhi metro will not only provide better facilitations to the passengers, but it will also be a symbol of the country’s Technological Development and Self-Reliance. These trains with the theme of the tricolor will further strengthen the sense of national pride among the citizens.
