Gwyneth Paltrow , the Hollywood icon, has been making headlines for being the ‘temporary spokesperson,’ the astronomical masterstroke. While the giggly roots lead to her ex-husband, Chris Martin , Paltrow has been quite open about her relationship with him after they consciously uncoupled . Not only have they been cordial post-drama, but she also addressed him “like a brother.”

A decade later of their separation, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin share a special bond, where the former even hung out with his then-girlfriend, Dakota Johnson . In a 2023 interview with her lifestyle brand, Goop , the 52-year-old got candid about her musician ex, and their two kids: Apple, 21, and Moses, 19.

During the ‘Q&A’ session at the summit, Paltrow opened up about the trip with Martin and their kids to look at the potential colleges. “I’m still very close with my ex-husband. We’ve sort of morphed it into a true family,” she said, before adding, “I know it sounds really weird to say, but he’s kind of like my brother now.”

“I think it’s incredibly painful for a woman, when you’ve co-mingled your DNA with a man, if you have no contact and acrimony and nothing between you,” she said, before adding, “So if you’re able to, transmogrify that into a different type of relationship and family. That’s what we’ve been able to do, thank goodness.”

Previously, in a 2021 interview with Today, the ‘Iron Man’ actress had called him a brother as well, and expressed her gratitude that all worked out well in the end.
