The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched the Bima Sakhi initiative to empower women by offering them an opportunity to become Women Career Agents (WCA). Under this scheme, selected women will receive professional training and a monthly stipend for up to three years, enabling them to build a career in the insurance sector.
✅ Who Can Apply?

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 70 years (as of the date of application)

Education: At least a 10th-grade pass (matriculation)

Gender: Female candidates only
This scheme is not a permanent LIC job, but a stipend-based career opportunity.
💰 Stipend Details
Women selected as LIC Bima Sakhi agents will receive a monthly stipend as follows:

1st Year: ₹7,000/month

2nd Year: ₹6,000/month
(Only if 65% of 1st-year policies remain active) -
3rd Year: ₹5,000/month
(Only if 65% of 2nd-year policies remain active)
Note:
To qualify for the stipend each year, agents must:

Sell at least 24 new policies annually

Earn a minimum first-year commission of ₹48,000 (excluding bonus commissions)
