PM kisan yojana: On the morning of August 2, when the large population of the country was entangled in the news of rain and floods, Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi declared a big relief, the 20th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. An amount of ₹ 2,000- ₹ 2,000 was directly transferred to the accounts of 9.7 crore farmers with one click.

The total amount of ₹ 20,844 crore was absorbed into the soil of village to village in a few seconds. This scheme has become one of the biggest direct benefit transfer programs in the country so far.

₹ 6,000 in three installments: The installment did not come? So know what to do! (PM Kisan Yojana)

Under the PM-Kisan scheme, every eligible farmer gets assistance of ₹ 6,000 annually, which is transferred to three equal installments-

  • First installment: April-July
  • Second installment: August-November
  • Third installment: December-March

If a farmer has not yet received an installment, then there is no need to panic.
Go to the “Farmer Corner” of the PM-Kisan portal.
Insert Aadhaar, account or mobile number in “help desk”.
Click on “Get Details” and submit the problem and submit it.

Apart from this, registration or problem can also be solved by CSC (Common Service Center), Gram Panchayat Secretary, Patwari or nominated officers of the state government.

Not every farmer gets installment: know who is out of this scheme (PM Kisan Yojana)

Although the scheme has now opened to all farmers, some categories of people are deprived of it.
These farmers are not considered eligible for the scheme:

  • Institutional land holder
  • Constitutional officials like ministers, MPs, MLAs
  • Official or employee of government departments (serving or retired)
  • Those who get more than ₹ 10,000 monthly pension
  • Professional like doctor, engineer, lawyer
  • Farmers who pay income tax

The initial focus of the scheme was on small and marginal farmers, who had less than 2 hectares of land. But in June 2019, the government increased its scope and included all the land holders farmers.

How to take online solution? (PM Kisan Yojana)

  1. First of all visit the website of PM-Kisan scheme.
  2. Click on the “Farmers Corner” option in the menu there.
  3. Now you will see the “Help Desk” section – click on it.
  4. Enter your Aadhaar number, bank account number or registered mobile number in the opening form.
  5. After clicking on “Get Details”, a query form will open.
  6. Choose your problem from the drop-down-such as “Payment Not Received”, “Aadhaar Issues”, “Bank Account Error” etc.
  7. Write the details of the problem in the box below and press the submit button.

How to take offline help? (PM Kisan Yojana)

If you are not comfortable in the online process, then you can register your problem by visiting your nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Operators present there can take your information and register a complaint on the portal.

Apart from this, you can also contact your local Patwari, Village Secretary, Revenue Officer or PM-Kisan Nodal Officer appointed by the state government. They will help check and update your application status.

  • The information given on the help desk should be accurate – especially Aadhaar and bank details.
  • The registered mobile number should be activated so that OTP or updates can be found.
  • If an installment has been found earlier and this time it does not come, then often the reason may be a mess in Aadhaar seeding, bank verification or beneficiary verification.
