The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi has been released to 9.7 crore farmers of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the money of PM Kisan Yojana to the accounts of farmers in a program held in Varanasi today. About Rs 20,500 crore has been transferred to the farmers. Under this scheme, run by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, eligible farmers are given financial assistance of ₹ 6,000 every year. This amount is received in three installments of Rs 2000 2000 in a year. PM Kisan money is transferred directly to the bank accounts of farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
You can check whether the money of the 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana has come to your bank account or not, sitting at home. You can do this with the help of PM Kisan's official website pmkisan.gov.in. Here you can check the status with the help of your Aadhaar number. For this, it is necessary to have a mobile number registered in your PM Kisan account linked to your Aadhaar card. You also get an SMS from your bank when money comes into your account.

Click on the “Know Your Status” option.
Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code.
Click on ‘Get OTP’.
Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.

E-KYC mandatory
To avail the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana, it is mandatory for the farmer to do e-KYC. Without e-KYC, you will not get PM Kisan money. With the help of PM Kisan website, farmers can do e-KYC on their smartphones sitting at home. For this, you have to go to the PM Kisan website http://pmkisan.gov.in. Here you will see Farmer Corner written. Below this, the option of e-KYC will be visible. Click on it. Then you have to enter your Aadhaar number. By doing this, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. As soon as you enter this OTP in the designated place, your e-KYC process will be completed.
