Aadhaar Face Authentication Banking IPPB India: Now you will neither need OTP nor fingerprint while doing digital banking. India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has introduced a new facility in which you will be able to do banking transactions only by the identity of the face. Now your face has become a password.

This facility has been prepared under the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). In this, customers will be able to authenticate Aadhaar through their face identity, which will also reduce the possibility of fraud.

Elders and disabled will get relief

This feature is like a boon for the elderly, disabled and whose fingerprints have disappeared. They will not have to go through repeated fingerprints or passing through OTP mess. Just show your face in front of the camera and work will be done.

If someone is ill, or there is a situation where physical contact is not possible, then this face authentication technique will prove to be quite useful. This facility is opening a new way of safe banking.

IPPB MD and CEO R. Visvesvaran said, “We want banking not only to be accessible, but also respectable. This technique is a way to bring people together which are left behind due to OTP or biometrics.”
