
Mumbai: Like the entire cricket-crazy nation, Bollywood celebs are also celebrating Team India’s thrilling 6-run win in the final Test at the Oval on Monday to share the series 2-2.
Taking to their social media handles, Bollywood stars including Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty and Kareena Kapoor praised Shubman Gill & Co.
Suniel, who was present at the ground along with his son Ahaan Shetty, to cheer for the team and his son-in-law K L Rahul, shared pictures on Instagram and wrote, “2 incredible days at The Oval! What a game and what a win! Come on India, always my India!”
The veteran actor also shared a video of himself and Ahaan cheering for Team India.
Suniel is heard saying in the video, “One of the most iconic cricket games.”
Ahaan added, “What a game.”
Suniel’s daughter Athiya, who is married to India opener Rahul, also shared a photo of Team India celebrating their victory and wrote, “Unreal!”
Sharing a video of India’s iconic win, veteran actor Anil Kapoor took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “What a fight. What a finish. Team India
doesn’t play safe — they play like legends!”
Appreciating Mohammed Siraj’s performance in the match, Kareena Kapoor wrote on her Instagram handle, “Jai Hind.”
Penning a note for Siraj on Instagram, Arjun Kapoor wrote, “@mohammedsirajofficial Miyaan kya baat hai!!!
