New Delhi:- The expelled JDS leader and former Lok Sabha MP Prajwal Revanna has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Public Representatives Special Court in the case of raping a domestic helper at a farmhouse in Holnarsipura in Hasan district.
What did Revana say in court
After hearing the prosecution and arguments of the defense, the court asked the convict Revanna, the convict of the rape case, if you have to say, then the prince Revanna said with a sad heart that I have done a very good job while being an MP. I have not seen my parents for 6 months. I have been a meritorious student and a graduate in mechanical engineering. I had come very early in politics and started doing good work, that’s why I was implicated. I do not want to accuse the media, all this is the police job.
Saree offered as evidence
The sari was produced in the court as an important evidence in the rape case filed against Prajwal Revanna. It was alleged that the former MP raped the domestic assistant but not one but twice. The victim also recorded a video of the incident and she was also present with the sari, which she kept as evidence. In the investigation, sperm marks were found on that saree, which made the matter even stronger. This saree was presented as a decisive evidence in the court.
