According to a report from The teamMallorca have rejected a bid from Lyon to sign Dominik Greif (28). The Ligue 1 club’s opening offer for the Slovakian goalkeeper is believed to be in the region of €3m. However, the Spanish outfit are demanding a fee nearer to €6m for the 28-year-old stopper.
Despite the lack of an agreement between the two clubs, Greif is desperate to make the switch to OL and has already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Rhône club. Should an agreement on a transfer fee be reached, the Mallorca keeper is expected to sign a 5-year contract with Les Gones.
Perri replacement?
Lyon are actively in the market for a new goalkeeper following the departure of Lucas Perri to Leeds United. The Brazilian goalkeeper made the switch to Elland Road for a fee in the region of €16m. With Rémy Descamps, the only senior goalkeeper at the Groupama Stadium, Greif could be seen as a replacement for the former Botafogo stopper.
