
New Delhi . The Ministry of Defense (Ministry of Defense) approved several military projects, including the purchase of drones and missile systems, which will cost about Rs 67 thousand crore, including the purchase of drones and missile systems. The Defense Procurement Council (DAC) headed by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh approved these projects. The ministry said that the Hub was approved to upgrade the compact autonomous surface craft, BrahMos Fire Control System, Launcher’s purchase and upgrade to the Barak-1 point defense missile system for the Indian Navy.

The ministry said that the purchase of compact autonomous surface craft will provide the ability to detect, classify and neutralize the Indian Navy in anti -submarine war campaigns. He said that it was approved to procure the mountain radar and upgrade the Spider Weapon System for the Indian Air Force. The Ministry of Defense said that the purchase of mountain radar would increase air monitoring capacity along with monitoring boundaries in the mountainous region.
Regulation of remote piloted aircraft approved
According to the Defense Ministry, the spider system will increase air defense capacity for integrated air command and integration with control system. Approval was provided for the procurement of long -range remote pilot aircraft (RPA) at medium altitude for the three armies. The proposed mail RPA can carry several materials and weapons. They can easily work on long distance missions. The ministry said that this would increase monitoring of armed forces round the clock and war capacity. In addition, DAC has approved the maintenance of C-17 and C-130J fleet.
