YouTube android issue: Millions of Android users this week YouTube The app is facing a serious problem. Many users have complained that they are not able to change the playback speed of the video as per their convenience. Usually users on YouTube can choose speeds from 0.25x to 2x, but at this time the app is returning to the default 1x speed again and again. This problem is being seen on both Android smartphones and tablets.

Google agrees to his mistake

Accepting this bug, Google said, “We know that there are problems in changing the playback speed while watching the video on some Android devices. Our teams are investigating this problem! As soon as new information will be available, we will update this thread.” Interestingly, this bug is not affecting the YouTube music app, which is clear that the disturbances are limited to the main YouTube Android app only.

Users are making complaints on online forums

Users have filed complaints about this bug on Reddit and other social platforms. This bug is present not only in the stable version of the app, but also in the beta version. This is causing a lot of inconvenience to users during content conference.

Spotify increased subscription prices, coincidence made from Google’s bug

The timing of this disturbance has come to light when Spotify has changed the prices of its subscription plans in India. This is the first time after launching in 2019 when Spotify has raised prices:

• Individual plan: ₹ 139 (First ₹ 119)
• Duo plan: ₹ 179 (First ₹ 149)
• Family plan (up to 6 users): ₹ 229 (First ₹ 179)

The company says that these changes have been made due to rising costs and investment in new features. Spotify in India compete with large platforms like YouTube Music, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Jiosaavn.

After confirmation from Google, it is expected that this problem will be cured in updates. Till then users are being advised to adopt alternative measures. They have to do the same.
