Alejandro Garnacho has sparked speculation about his future at Manchester United with a cryptic social media post. The 21 year old winger's relationship with Ruben Amorim has been strained, leading to rumours of a potential exit from Old Trafford.
Tensions first arose when Amorim left Garnacho out of the squad for the Manchester derby in December due to concerns over his attitude. However, the Argentine international seemed to have turned things around, earning a spot in Amorim's team.
But on the final day of the season, Amorim surprised many by leaving Garnacho out of the matchday squad. The young player was also left on the bench for the Europa League final, despite having started all previous knockout round matches.

Just three days after Tottenham Hotspur triumphed over United in Bilbao to claim their first trophy in 17 years, Amorim informed Garnacho that he was free to leave the club. According to the Manchester Evening News, the Argentine has been relegated to the 'bomb squad' this summer.
Garnacho, along with others, has been left out of the pre-season tour and has been training separately from the main first-team squad. Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing the winger, who still has three years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford.
Earlier this month, Amorim gave an update on Garnacho's situation. The United boss described the Chelsea target as a 'really talented boy', who is seeking 'a different thing with a different leadership'.
"I think Garnacho, you can understand and you can see, he's talented, he's a really talented boy," said the 40 year old. "And sometimes things don't work out. You cannot explain specifically what it is.

"But I have the feeling, I think it's clear that Garnacho wants a different thing with a different leadership. And I can understand that. So I think it's not a problem.
"Sometimes you adapt to one guy, you have the connection. Other times, you want a new challenge. So, we try to make everything okay to all the parts. To the club, to the coach and to the players. So, it's a natural thing in football."
Garnacho seems to have reacted to Amorim's remarks with a somewhat enigmatic message on social media. The Chelsea target shared an image of himself clutching his shirt to his Instagram story, as if to say, 'remember my name'.

It's not the first time that Garnacho's social media behaviour has sparked controversy. Throughout Erik ten Hag's tenure, the Argentine endorsed a post from a supporter slamming the Dutchman's tactics.
Luckily for Garnacho, Ten Hag welcomed his apology. Several months afterwards, though, the winger found himself back under scrutiny after he endorsed another post attacking his manager, this time from Cristiano Ronaldo.
